If you don't know how to use a knife effectively, it is more dangerous to carry it for self-defense than not to carry it. You MUST learn to effectively use the weapons you carry. This includes learning general weapons defense philosophy, and the legal aspects of using a weapon.
Join this fun and interactive workshop intensive on knife fighting and defense. You'll learn practical and research-based techniques for using a knife in self-defense, as well as defending against a knife when you have no weapon. We'll role play and spar to discover what's working and not working in our defense techniques, what to be thinking and looking for in life threatening attack scenarios, and how to hopefully deescalate a dangerous situation before an attack begins.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Coach Jeremy Pollack has been a martial arts instructor and practitioner for more than 25 years. He is Black Belt in Freestyle Hapkido, a Muay Thai Kickboxing Instructor, and retains Blue Belts in Wing Chun, Shaolin Kung Fu, Kenpo, Ninjitustu, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
