The 10 Virtues are the ideals by which a Warrior lives. The notion is that by optimizing one’s internal character, the Warrior’s external life will naturally fall into an optimal state. These 10 virtues were derived from a thoroughly researched and practiced combination of ideals set forth in Japanese Bushido (the ancient Samurai code), the Dao De Ching (ancient Chinese Text used by meditation and Kung Fu masters as a guide for life), the Knights Code of Chivalry (the traditional European warrior’s code of honor and morals), Evolutionary Psychology (the science that combines biology with cognitive psychology), and Interpersonal Counseling (modern techniques employed by personal coaches and counselors). They comprise a set of character-development principles by which to hold oneself accountable. By applying these virtues to each sphere of external life, the individual will optimize those spheres.

Creed of the Modern Warrior

I stay true to myself and my principles in the face of fear and in the wake of obstacles; I live in the moment, with intention, passion, and adventure; I am disciplined and yet wild at heart; I am full of courage, willing to face any obstacle, including my own fears, along my path of self-discovery.
