My Workplace Peacebuilding Process
A typical Workplace Peacebuilding process includes an organizational conflict analysis which is conducted through interviews, observations, and surveys. My team and I will develop a report of findings which include a proposal of strategies that can be implemented to reduce conflict and improve working relationships. We’ll suggest an action plan, which may include a combination of coaching, training, dialogue, and a variety of other conflict resolution or communication interventions to help improve overall culture. Group coaching can be customized to address the needs of employees, managers, and/or executives while one-on-one coaching is meant to support those at the leadership level so they can implement best practices around organizational conflict. A detailed analysis of program impact will be offered which gauges employee’ attitudes, company productivity, turnover, and general ROI.
Partnering with HR
While I assess and help implement new systems to address organizational conflict, I also believe it’s important to work closely with the company’s HR leaders, who may already have their finger on the pulse of the company's challenges. My programs involve HR leaders in the process and regularly pull them in for insight and to collaborate on a process of change that can be sustainable over time.
